I found out yesterday that Memphis’ AM Radio portfolio includes the above station. Apparently, the station’s 50,000 watt signal makes it audible in most markets east of the Mississippi. So Rush Limbaugh is now collecting $38 million a year for being radio’s premier conservative voice. In 2004, President Bush’s name was attached to 62,040,610 ballots (50.7% of the popular vote). Locals speculate that this is, in part, due to the absence of Southwest Airlines from the choice of carriers at Memphis favorite international martini glass shelf.
