Julia’s birthday started off pretty early. We woke up at 3AM so that we could be at the hospital by 4AM. Andrea’s labor was long; she didn’t arrive until nearly 8PM. But it was worth it in the end.
A new chapter in our life for sure.

Happy Mother’s Day

I’ll let Keillor wax brilliant for this annual day of tribute to mothers.
My only problem with the holiday is the idea of brunch. At church I witness throngs of people mingling around coffee pots and donut boxes, consuming breakfast fare. Then they say they are going to have brunch. Isn’t that just called lunch?
